How to Add Users in Noteframe

With Noteframe, managing billing and adding team members is easy. This guide will walk you through how to upgrade your billing, add team members, and understand how billing works when adding users to your workspace.

Access Noteframe Plugin

  • Open the Noteframe plugin in your Framer project.

  • If you haven’t signed up already, you can do so within the plugin interface.

Upgrade Billing and Add Team Members

  • Navigate to "Share": Go to the Noteframe dashboard and click on the "Share" button.

  • Invite a Team Member: Click on "Invite Team Member" and either continue with the free plan or upgrade to the Pro version.

    (The Pro version is billed per user added, so pricing depends on the number of people you invite.)

  • Invite via Email: To add a team member, enter their email and click "Invite to Workspace". Once the user accepts the invite, they’ll become part of your workspace.

Task Management with Added Team Members

  • Once you've invited your team member, you can assign them to tasks.

  • Assign Tasks: When creating tasks in Noteframe, you can assign them to the user who has accepted the invitation or to the email you have invited.

  • For example, once Ryan joins, you’ll be able to assign tasks directly to him, and his name will appear as the assignee.

Understanding Billing for Added Users

  • User Acceptance: Adding a team member to your workspace doesn’t automatically start the billing process. The user must accept the invitation via email.

  • Important: Only once the user accepts and creates an account will billing begin for that user.

Managing Billing and Workspace Members

  • To see who's been invited and manage your billing, go to "Manage Workspace".

  • Check Active Users: Here, you can see all the users in your workspace.

  • If you delete a user, you’ll stop being billed for them.

  • Important: Deleting a user doesn't automatically charge you for them—billing starts only when the user has accepted the invite and joined the workspace.

Removing Users from Your Workspace

  • If a user is no longer part of your team, you can remove them to stop further billing.

  • Simply click on "Delete" next to the user in "Manage Workspace".

  • This ensures that you're only billed for active users in your workspace.

Inviting More Users

  • You can invite additional users anytime by clicking "Invite Team Member", entering their email, and sending the invite. Once they join, they’ll appear in your workspace, and you'll be billed for them accordingly.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to manage your Noteframe billing, add and add team members as needed, and keep your workspace organized.
